Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more adept, passing our tests of cleaning and tackling a variety of floor types. Find models that let you choose from multiple modes, use their charging docks to automatically empty, and clean up stairs.
A lot of the top models work with your smartphone. Look for an app that allows you to save maps, set schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and alter the S1's behaviour.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms and a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was capable of driving up to walls and even over raised thresholds without any problems. However it had some issues getting down the stairs in one go. automated vacuum cleaner performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it came to carpets or carpets.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 cleaning sessions, but it will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the dirty tank to avoid it becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an effective solution to your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a number advanced features like voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. The mopping feature is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor as opposed to just moving the pad across it. The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station, as required.
This robot has an easy-to-use interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum that can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks that can be automatically filled or empty. It also has a range of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction which can easily remove dirt and other debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty robust, however it can sometimes get caught in the small area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can reduce by creating a virtual boundary within the app). Mopping capabilities are quite good, with a pair spinning mops which can lift and scrub the floor instead of dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with hot water and dried in the base station whenever required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance making it a top contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush will give you a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned the most filthy areas well, and keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other dirt. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a beat. It can go from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is beneficial for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than some competitors, however, and tends to leave a wide margin around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.
The app is streamlined and intuitive interface that will be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings. You can also alter suction power, mop settings, and view 3-D and 2D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video monitoring. However, you will require a stable internet connection to use it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of removing dirt and debris but it's not always able to get every last piece of dust. This is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to do exactly that. It is easy to connect it to your home WiFI network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, including the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by removing the mopping functionality and by using a cheaper plastic body.
The Q5 is one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've ever seen in this price range, even though it's not equipped to clean your floor. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It also features a smart app that lets you select your floor's type and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic water tank refill and wash system to allow hands-free operation.
The mops also stand out, with a 2700Pa capacity to take on pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested did not show a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it did not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising because it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested, it also utilizes a unique system to map your home. This will allow it to enter places that other vacuums cannot reach. It also collects dust in a larger bin which means you need empty it less frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters that further lower the expenses associated with using the device. This robot can detect carpets, and boost suction if necessary. The app also lets you to mark off areas you want to avoid, which is a nice feature.
